NEXA AUTOCOLOR® brand introduces TURBO VISION® at Solutrans 2017

Premium automotive refinish brand, NEXA AUTOCOLOR® has strengthened its commercial transport (CT) offer by introducing TURBO VISION®, a revolutionary new coating system. This unique solution was presented for the first time at the Solutrans international show for road and urban transport solutions in Lyon, on 21-25 November.

Turbo Vision is the result of our constant attention to the customers’ needs and our continuous investment in research and innovation to develop the best solution to their expectations. Our new system is using a new generation of patented technologies and has been designed to reach new levels of performance, process optimisation and colour excellence. As an innovative system, Turbo Vision grants a competitive product offer to cover all the needs of the Commercial Vehicle Industry coating whether it’s about Repairers, Builders or Special manufacturers.

To mark the official launch, a number of key CT customers and prospects from all over Europe were invited to participate in an exclusive preview event. Guests were welcomed to the impressive Nexa Autocolor stand at Solutrans with the new Turbo Vision range at centre stage and encouraged to check the vehicle painted with Turbo Vision on display.

Guests were then transported nearby to CM Maintenance refinish facility to witness a practical demonstration, a tanker vehicle being painted with the new Turbo Vision coatings. The process was guided by technical representatives and complimented with video and audio screenings so guests could observe in real time what was happening in the spray booth and could be impressed by the fast drying properties of the new CT system. They became the first witnesses of Turbo Vision´s performance, its easy application, excellent flow, outstanding finish and gloss.

The launch continued with a presentation highlighting the Nexa Autocolor´s strategy, reminding that Turbo Vision has been designed exclusively from customers´ feedback and to answer concrete customers’ expectations. The event was concluded by an evening reception and dinner.

Alban d’ Épenoux, Marketing Director at PPG Refinish EMEA, concludes: “With more than 36,000 visitors from 18 countries attending 2017’s event, Solutrans provided the ideal platform for us to launch this new generation of commercial transport coatings to the market. The live bodyshop demonstration allowed us to show just how these coatings can empower users to ‘Reach Innovation’, ‘Reach Optimisation’ and ‘Reach Excellence’ within a real-life setting. The feedback during and following this event has been very positive and we would like to thank everyone who took part for their role in making this a successful launch.”

As an early testament to the groundbreaking nature of these coatings, Turbo Vision also received a nomination for a Solutrans 2017 Innovation Award.
