The paint brand Nexa Autocolor and its platinum distributor, Pinturas Carman, have once again demonstrated their commitment to training professionals in automotive body repair. They sponsored the “Automobile Painting” competition at SpainSkills, which took place in Madrid from April 9th to 13th. This event brought together students and recent graduates in vocational training, with active collaboration from Nexa Autocolor in its organization.
Once again, the support of the paint brand and its distributor played a crucial role in the development of the “Automobile Painting” tests at SpainSkills. Their sponsorship involved providing painting materials and necessary machinery for the competition, including specialized booths and teaching materials. Additionally, various members of Pinturas Carman, Nexa Autocolor, and PPG teams actively participated as judges in the professional Olympics. Among them were Rubén Sánchez and Carles Alborch, technical leads from the paint brand; Nuria Rodríguez and David Hervás, COLOR LAB & SIC Manager and New Business Manager, respectively, at PPG Refinish; and Javier Díaz, Christian Paz, and Carlos Fernández from Pinturas Carman.
Furthermore, Carlos Olías Merino and Carlos Olías Soriano, Director of Operations and Manager, respectively, at Pinturas Carman, also served as coordinators.
Innovation and support for young talent are fundamental values for Nexa Autocolor and Pinturas Carman. Their participation in SpainSkills reflects their commitment to the future of the vehicle refinishing industry and their dedication to excellence in training.
